Claudia Schnell

Claudia hails from Germany & discovered South Africa in 1991 for the first

time and she straight fell in love with the african bush, the country and it's people. Many holidays followed and in 2007 she moved permanently to South Africa and started a new exciting career in the guiding industry.

She gathered her experience amongst others while working for a ‘Big 5-Horse Safari’ as well as a coordinating manager and Trails guide in a research camp in a well known Big 5-game reserve.

During her many trips around extraordinary places within Southern Africa, she developed her idea to start an agency for unique safaris in combination with adventurous experiences.

Claudia has qualified as a FGASA Level 2-guide and a FGASA Lead Rifle Trails guide and does guided walking safaris as well as game drives in areas with the Big 5. Claudia developed together with her partner ultimate safaris. Her skills in having a degree in photography as well as her organisational & business capabilities helped her a lot in her daily routine with guiding guests and managing a lodge.

This wasn’t the end of her dreams. She developed next to her safari-life several adventure trips to hand-picked places that are authentic African and worth the voyage where local communities benefit from the visitors stay and where the guests get an ‘once in a lifetime’ experience.
